“双减”政策的落地，打开了课堂教学的新局面。英语课程是康桥学校的特色课程之一，除了根据学生的英语能力不同进行小班化分级教学，丰富多样的形式，让学生在快乐中学习，在学习时收获喜悦。

2022年4月13日至14日，台州康桥学校一到六年级学生在第九周举行了拼读大闯关。

KCIS Phonics Contest was held on the 9^th week, from April 13th to 14^th, 2022. Students from G1 to G6 participated in the contest.

通过此次Phonics比赛，我们的孩子能够锻炼平时所学课堂所学的英文字母 (letter) 与语音(sound) 间的关系。Phonics的学习非常重要，它可以提高阅读效率和理解能力，打好英语基础以此增强英语学习的自信心和成就感。

Through this Phonics Contest, our children can practice the letter and the sound. The learning progress of phonics is very important. It can improve reading efficiency and comprehension ability, and lay a solid foundation for learning English. It also can enhance students’ self-confidence and help them gain a sense of achievement.

像往常一样，这次闯关分为个人闯关和小组闯关，让我们来一睹选手们的赛场专注与激情学习的风采吧！

As we usually do, this time students still participated in both individuals and teams. Let’s take a quick look at what they have accomplished!

个人闯关 Individual round

在个人闯关I love spelling中，每个孩子的脸上都写满了专注。

In Individual "I love spelling" round, each child was paying full attention.

小组闯关Team work round

小组闯关分为“听音找词”“一起大声念”“我爱朗读”三关。孩子们需小组合作完成任务，充分锻炼了孩子们的专注力和协作能力。教室里萦绕着孩子们朗读的声音。

It had been set three parts of team work- "Best Ears" " Read Aloud "" Let’s read!". Children were expected to work together. This fully showed the children's ability of concentration and cooperation. The classroom was full of the sound of students’ practicing.

最后，经过四个回合激烈的角逐，我们分别产生了个人赛和团队赛的一、二、三等奖。获奖名单如下:
